A Few Things About My Practice...
Your First Appointment: It is natural for someone to feel nervous, anxious, or unsure as they prepare to attend an initial appointment with a therapist. I will strive to help you feel comfortable and safe during our time together. Many people report feeling more at ease as their initial appointment progresses, or at the end of their appointment. During our first appointment, I will ask you some questions about what brings you in to see me, a little about your family and interests. Finally, we will discuss goals that you have and what you would like to improve. You may also ask me questions about my professional background and my thoughts on how we could possibly work together. Some people have not visited a therapist before and may not know what therapy looks like, so we can discuss this as well during our time together. Please arrive 15 minutes early for your appointment to complete necessary paperwork.
My Office Hours: Currently, I have office hours on Thursdays between the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Most of my evening time slots are currently filled, but I do have availability during morning and daytime hours. Please call me office to discuss scheduling options.
